14-17 september 2016
Palais du Pharo, Marseille, France
Honorary President : Pr. Alain Clémence
In its 13th edition, the International Conference on Social Representations (CIRS) will be held in France in Marseille, organised by the Laboratory of Social Psychology (LPS, EA849) of the Aix-Marseille University, with the support of the Serge Moscovici Global Network (REMOSCO-FMSH). The guiding theme of the event is: "Epistemologies of everyday life."
Since 1992, the ICSR is held biannually, alternating an organization in and outside Europe (Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2014 Evora, Portugal 2012; Gammarth, Tunisia, 2010, Bali, Indonesia, 2008; Rome, Italy 2006; Montreal, Canada, 2004; Stirling, Scotland, 2002; Guadalajara, Mexico, 2000; Mexico City, Mexico, 1998; Aix-en-Provence, France, 1996; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1994 and Ravello, Italy, 1992). 20 years after its 3rd edition held in Aix-en-Provence in 1996, the CIRS returns to France!
This edition is hosted by the LPS, considered to be of the cradles of the development of this theory for over 40 years through the school structural representations (Jean-Claude Abric, Claude Flament, Christian Guimelli).
Hope to see you soon in Marseille !
